PHOTOGRAPHY: WRITING WITH LIGHT
The word "photography" stems from the Greek words "photo" meaning light and "graphia" meaning "writing" or "drawing." Photography is art and you deserve to have your wedding
artistically photographed.
WE PLAN. THEN WE CREATE.
GETTING TO KNOW YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Brad: Creative Director
I started photographing as a hobby at the age of 10. My parents were professional photographers and loved to fly. And guess what? I grew up to be a professional wedding photographer and love to fly too. I suppose the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I absolutely love how photography is a blend of art and technique.
Wedding photography is my niche because I thrive on the challenge of capturing all of the special moments in one day. I raised my 3 children in Tampa Bay because I love the natural surrounding beauty and the energy of the city.
I often look at the Tampa skyline and appreciate the contemporary architecture and diverse cultures in this vibrant community. There are Hindu temples, Islamic mosques, Jewish synagogues, and Christian churches. The variety of wedding ceremony locations keeps me challenged and interested in finding all the best angles and lighting to photograph.
As the father of two daughters, my favorite parts of a wedding are the father of the bride's toast and the bride and her father's dance. Being a wedding photographer means I get to partake in the joy of the couple getting married and celebrate alongside them on one of the happiest days of their lives. Although Fall, Winter, and Spring are by far the busiest seasons for Florida weddings, the warm, sunny climate means I photograph weddings year round.
When I'm not photographing weddings, I'm probably up in the sky flying airplanes, going to local music shows, DJ ing events, or with my wife eating at one of Tampa's many delicious restaurants.
