Preparing your house for photography:
Having your house look its very best is extremely important when you want to attract the highest number of potential buyers.
- Please have the house 100% picked up and ready to be photographed upon the photographers arrival (we recommend having everything listed below completed no less than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start window). De-personalization goes a long way in allowing a buyer to envision the home in their own style. Removing decorative flags, posters, or similar is highly recommended.
- Please note that our insurance coverage does not allow us to move anything in the home so please have everything you want moved or removed from the house completed prior to our arrival.
- Please have pets, children, and any other family members removed or hidden during your photo session. We don’t want any “cameos” on photo day :)
- To make the house look as large as possible, it is important that they have “every single” light in the home on and operating (check all light bulbs three days before the photo shoot to make sure they are all working properly). This includes desk and bedside lamps and under counter lighting in the kitchen, etc., etc. Since the photographs as often “long exposures” you will need to turn off ceiling fans from rotating (but any lights attached to ceiling fans turned on). Make sure any light fixture with multiple bulbs contains the same color temperature bulbs. Modern LED light bulbs usually work best. We highly recommend daylight colored bulbs in all fixtures as warm colored lights cause substantial / undesirable color casting in photos.
- Grass should be mowed prior to the shoot and the driveway, yards, and sidewalks should be clear of everything and be spotless (including hoses, garbage cans, etc.). All driveways / sidewalks / areas directly in front of the house must be completely clear of cars, boats, trailers, or anything else that is not part of the house.
- Our service does not include “Photoshop”. Photoshop service is available for a limited number of image modifications and is available for an additional fee.

- $575 Premium Package (76-100 wide-angle (tripod / ground based), 10 artistic shallow depth of field, and 20 aerial (drone) photos* - up to 120 minutes of photography - best for feature rich homes 5000-7500 heated square feet.*

A part 107 FAA remote pilot / drone (unmanned aircraft system) certificate is required to take photographs for a real estate listing. Protect yourself and your client and only hire licensed drone pilots.
